WHAT
WE DO

PROGRAMS & PROJECTS.

Below are some of our ideas we would like to implement in the battle on veteran suicide. This takes building a solid team around us and a strong business plan. This will take time but we will get where we need to be.

Community Involvement

Through holding fundraisers and events that bring together the civilian population with the veteran community we can heal through enjoyment and focus on making sure veterans know they aren't alone.

Early Education

Educating civilian and military service members as well veterans on the red flags of suicide they need to look out for so we can get help to the service member.

Family
Readiness

Assisting veterans with basic things such as gifts on holidays and birthdays for low income families. Daycare for veteran families that have no options. Building veterans a stable family to be able to hold them up.

Substance
Abuse

Recognizing that there is a problem and getting that service member the help that they need. Abusing alcohol and drugs is a gateway to a dark place. Providing group sessions and one on one talks with professionals.

Transition
Assistance

Making sure that every service member getting out today understands the programs that they qualify for including enrollment in the VA and using GI bill benefits.

Career
Development

Providing temporary work possibly with housing while we build resume and job interview skills to pursue a career in a field the veteran chooses. Also help with processing for college or trade school.
